The costs of funding these services is high and the charities rely heavily on their own fundraising initiatives.
Lotteries are recognised as an excellent source of fundraising, generating additional long-term, sustainable source of income as well as introducing new supporters to the work of the charity.
Our shareholding partner charities benefit from the advantages of sharing the operating costs of running a lottery, meaning that more funds can go directly back to the charities.
Since The Hospice Lottery Partnership launched in 1997, our supporters have donated over £18 million straight to our partner charities’ funds, enabling them to continue offering a lifeline to thousands of patients and families in their local community.
Starting 29 August, the cost of a lottery entry will increase to £1.50.
This change will introduce more prizes and increase the Rollover prize cap to £25,000. As a result, the current Rollover prize is guaranteed to be won in the draw on 22 August 2025.
This change will help to ensure we continue supporting the vital care that our partner charities provide.
